Firstly, it’s quite uncommon to hear about a country in the 70’s which is named “Empire”…well, that’s our case here: Central African Empire who shortly existed only for 3 years (1976-1979) being ruled by the well-known dictator Jean-Bédel Bokassa.

This historical diplomatic passport belonged to Victor Boucher who was the Minister of Commerce and Industry.

Another very important fact is that this diplomatic passport was used during Operation Barracuda which ended in 1981 same as this document.
