That’s an amazing piece of Pacific War memorabilia, a great example of a US Philippines Islands passport issued in 1940 at Manila to a Warrant Officer US Army stationed in the US Commonwealth of the Philippines.

Besides that, the document itself is very rare as all US insular possessions passports (Philippine Islands, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, Virgin Islands) are extremely hard to get, especially from WW2 period.

The bearer of this passport Mr John B. McCallum being a Warrant Officer, US Army who served on USS Gold Star ship, sailing from Hong Kong to Manila on a US Army mission.

The provided pictures should be considered as part of the item description.
